She is a Triple Threat and plays everything from The Temptations and The Bee Gees to Rihanna and Lady Gaga. Gaining national recognition with a consistent ability to rock a dance party – from PrideFest Denver; Rock the Vote 2008; Unity Dance 08 and The Dinah – she is currently resident DJ for Babes Around Denver’s “First Friday” – the nation’s largest monthly dance party for women with attendance exceeding 1500 every month.  Serious about using her musical passion to save animals, DJ Trina J donates 100% of her DJ feesl to organizations such as the ASPCA and various Humane Societies and shelters across the country.  DJ Trina J will rock the Women’s Pride Party this Friday while saving animals one at  a time. Babes Around Denver hosts the biggest Pride party for women “Utopia – A Perfect World” this Friday 6.26.09 at Tracks/EXDO. Dancing all night with music by DJ Trina J and a rockin entertainment line up including  aerial performances by Aerial Dance Over Denver; LIVE Body Painting and Dance by Avalon Entertainment, LED Hula Hooping by Kaivalya Hoops and a guest appearance by New York lesbian hip-hop and soul duo – God-des and She.

The night will beone of a kind so show your Pride and party with 1500 women. Cover $10. Doors open 7 PM – music for everyone including early CW, disco and 80’s. We step it up as the night goes on with Top 40 Dance, Hip-Hop and Club.

Get your P on and join us for our annual Pre-Pride Womens’ Party (and woman identified), “P” Password driven speakeasy to Benefit Boulder Pride. Burlesque, Cabaret and Drag Performances. 06.08.2009 – Denver, CO. — Get out your jetpacks and moon boots because Babes Around Denver (BAD) is presenting a Women’s Party, “Pride in Utopia — A Perfect World,” on Friday, June 26, at the Tracks/EXDO Nightclub, the largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) dance club in Denver. The theme is futuristic, so think robots and “The Jetsons” living in a society where everyone is equal and no one is denied their civil rights.

The event features music by DJ Trina J, resident spinner for BAD’s “First Friday,” the nation’s largest monthly women’s party with more than 1,500 attendees every month. Look for a special guest appearance by New York lesbian hip-hop and soul duo God-des and She, known for their infamous song “Lick It” and a cameo on the Season 3 finale of Showtime’s hit series “The L Word.” The evening will also include breathtaking aerial performances, entertainment and dancing by the Avalon Troupe, and so much more.

Babes Around Denver has presented a wide variety of fun, social events to its diverse base of members since 2003. Its signature First Friday event is the largest regular lesbian party in the country. BAD also organizes other social events for Denver-area lesbians, including professional networking, singles parties, wine tastings, theater outings and recreational excursions for outdoor enthusiasts. In both 2008 and 2009, BAD earned coveted “Best of Denver” awards — including the Readers’ Choice Award for “Best Club Night” — from Westword, a popular local weekly paper that highlights activities in the Denver metro area.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Friday, June 26, for “Pride in Utopia — A Perfect World” party at the Tracks/EXDO Nightclub at the corner of 35th and Walnut streets in Denver. Age 21 and older only, please. Cover charge is $10. VIP seating with bottle service is $150 for four people.
