Babes Around Denver has receved  urgent request for assistance and we are reaching out to our community to request donations to the Family Crisis Center.  Many of these kids will be spending the holidays at the crisis center and many do not have any family support. You can drop off donations at

Due to First Friday falling on New Year’s Day – we are moving the party to Friday January 8th – ONE TIME ONLY. We know many of you will be watching football, hungover or just chillin.  This will be our annual Dinah Party so watch for more details.

Holiday Mixer tonight at Hamburger Mary’s – “Cougar Night – Women Over 40.

Babes Around Denver has been invited to connect with a few other lesbian groups for a holiday mixer so this should be a great way to mingle with other women over 40.

What is a cougar? A cougar is an older woman over 40 who typically pursues younger partners. The onset of the cougar years is hotly debated. Some feel that a cougar can be as young as 35 but who really knows? Some cougars are less interested in a relationship than a sexual conquest, perhaps enjoying the fact that they are physically appealing to younger partners.

No matter what you think – it’s all in good fun so come on down for the holiday mixer and check it out.
